Project 1

We are required to do a journal timeline individually, it's in A5 size, all history texts must be handwritten. For group work, we have to do a minimum A3 size graphical timeline. 

Objectives

1. To introduce the Western and Eastern culture and civilization through an overview of

       archeological discoveries, ancient monuments, artworks, philosophy and achievement

       of great leaders from prehistoric to present.

 2. To show basic skills on enquiry, investigation, application and presentation of relevant

         information.

Learning Outcome

1. Able to describe the historical development of human civilization.

2. Able to develop skills of data gathering.

3. Able to demonstrate good documentation and presentation skills.

 

Upon the completion of this assignment, I've understand the timeline history of Cambodia, especially during the Angkor Wat empire. When I doing the research to find information, I understand how and why a empire will raise and fall. Besides, I also trained my architecture hand writing when I'm doing the timeline journal of Cambodia. 

Project 2:

We are required to propose a play in video format from a specific civilization, we have to find a suitable environment to shoot our video and edit it, lastly, present it on the class. For individual work, we need to create a journal of our character that would demonstrate the understanding of the chosen elements.


Objectives of Project
1. To examine the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations.
2. To show basic skills on enquiry, investigation, application and presentation of relevant information.

1. Able to recall the development of Eastern and Western human civilizations in the past as well as
present.
2. Able to demonstrate good documentation and presentation skills.

Upon completion of this project, I've enhanced my hand crafting skills because all the costumes used in our video are handmade. I also learned how to act and memorize dialogue when we're doing video shooting. I think video shooting is very exhausting because we need to travel very far onto the mountain and there are a lot of mosquito and leech. The condition is very bad so we have to make it as fast as possible without neglecting the quality. 

Project 3 : 

We are required to do a literature research on places of interest of our site visit. From the

literature review, we are to study the theme given and its connection between the historical,

architectural and social aspects of the place. Documenting the right building, spaces and places with the

right content is important in this project. For part 2, we are to design a graphical expression of your findings in a concise graphical book. The book will create awareness and educate your audience on the subject matter or focus of the study. This includes design & layout, purpose, target audience, content, writing style, colours and etc.

Upon the completion of this project, I have enhanced my photo shooting skills, it really requires good skill in order to take good quality photo. The tough part for me is that I don't have a DSLR camera, and what I use is the iPad Mini camera, because the camera quality is very poor, so I can't take photo while the sun is very bright in the afternoon, I have to take photo after 4.30p.m. and before the sky turns dark because my iPad camaera don't have a flash light.I also learned how to use photoshop to edit photo and design my own layout before i send it to printing shop.
